A One-Off Wrought Iron Armillary Sphere with Counterbalancing Weight Pan, English, CA 1930
This armillary is intended to move up and down according to the Seasons, when the now missing pan weights were added or subtracted. To raise the armillary, we often place an exhuberantly-planted flower pot on the pan.
